The working principle of bearings is friction rolling motion. Ball bearings are spherical, and roller bearings are cylindrical.

Roller bearings are line contact, so friction is big and speed is not high as the ball, but because of the large contact area, it can withstand heavy loads.

The noise of cylindrical roller bearings is greater than that of deep groove ball bearings when the same size bearings rotate at the same speed.This is also because the two bearings of the rolling body contact surface caused by different friction.The greater the friction, the greater the noise.
